Getting Around Budapest
Airport Budapest's airport, Ferihegy Airport, is 16 km south of the city. The airport minibus service is very convenient and has a fixed price for transport into the city. The cheapest way is to take bus no. 93 from the airport to the Köbánya-Kispest underground railway station, which takes approx. 20 minutes. A taxi costs 5000 - 8000 forint.
Public transport Budapest has an underground railway, buses and trams. A three-day tourist rover pass costs 2700 forint. A three day "Budapest card" costs 6400 forint and also includes admission to 55 museums and discounts for sightseeing, swimming, etc. Budapest has three railway stations: Keleti, Nyugati and Deli, which are linked by the underground railway.
